Tubes

On Friday Charis had tubes put in her ears and her adenoids out. We went to the ENT on Monday and he had an opening for Friday and we took it. I am so happy that she had this done. I really pray it helps her to breathe, sleep, eat, and be happy.

She did great! We got her up early and had her at the surgery center by 6:45 AM. She waited in the waiting room for a long time and was a trooper. She got nose drops that made her a little loopy before they took her back. The whole procedure was over in 25 mins. She did great coming out of anesthesia. She drank juice and slept.

She had a hard day when we got home. Thankfully, my mom had Drew and I could just hold Charis all day. She snoozed off and on but she had quite a bit of pain and couldn't lie down on her own. She got some gifts for her big surgery. Our wonderful church gave her two books, my mom gave her a stuffed animal, Stephen bought her a book, and the nurse gave her a stuffed animal. She has played well since the surgery but, still hasn't eaten much.
